The hotel were of a top class standard, breakfast was perfect, especially the bacon.
Regarding the gym a such high standard hotel could benefit from a deadlift platform inside, some chalk (liquid or solid) to borrow, and more weight plates that fit on the bar. I could barely fit 200kg on the bar for deadlift.
For benching people would appreciate a competition combo rack that can be used for both benching and squatting.
The bar areas closed a little too early when the roof top bar closed and it was raining outside. The area available was almost no music or chill feeling.
Otherwise this stay was 10/10.

Lovely hotel in a great location, right next to the sky train. The staff are really nice but we did have an issue with a letter through the door saying we were being charged for staining on a bath towel that housekeeping said could not be removed during laundry. The staining was a soft pink tone from hair colour transfer, it’s easily removed just with water so when put in a wash it will come out completely. They added 500THB to our bill. I contacted reception and said I’ll happily take it to the local laundry and return it to them clean and they can remove the 500THB from our account. It’s not a massive amount but it was the principle. The hotel agreed and said the towel would be returned to me but it never appeared again - obviously it went to laundry and came back as white as every other towel. We received a second letter to say the charge had been removed.
Unfortunately one down side of the hotel was cleanliness, on first impression it’s spotless but doors are all covered in hand prints. the wall beside our table at breakfast had streaks down it of old dried in food stains and some areas just really needed a good scrub.
All in all, a great hotel, nice food and good team. We would go back again and hope they pay a little more attention to cleaning.

A very interesting design choice for the hotel. Great staff providing excellent hospitality. Well located and positioned for transport options. Located in a great building but in a rather small portion of it. Rooftop bar not worth it though. And oh yes, great breakfast.

We had a lovely time at the Standard, the rooftop bar is a particular highlight. Would definitely come back!

Good services. Made reservations on behalf of us for nice Wat Arun viewed restaurant. Nice breakfast. Fine facilities work out gym.
