For stays of multiple nights, basic housekeeping is provided every 5 days. All rooms cannot be used for wedding, party, or commercial shooting purposes. Thank you for your understanding. The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc.). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the guest house. If smoking is found, please understand the guest house will charge JPY 30,000 as penalty. Guests who need to smoke are kindly requested to go to the smoking area outside the guest house. Please note that the following items may incur fees charged on site, you may contact the hotel for the specific amount according to your needs: rollaway bed.

An accommodation tax is required in Kyoto from Oct 2018. Guests (both adults and children) are required to pay JPY200 per guest per night if the room rate per night is under JPY20,000, JPY500 per guest per night if the room rate per night is between JPY20,000 and JPY49,999, and JPY1,000 per guest per night if the room rate per night is JPY50,000 or greater. This surcharge is not included in the total rate for some rooms and shall be paid at the hotel. For details, please confirm with the hotel.
