Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property prior to arrival. If guests don't receive the agreement on time, they should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please note there is not public transport access. MINOR POLICIES The Carretero Hotel complies with Law 679 of 2001, and warns the GUEST that sexual exploitation and abuse of minors in the country are punished in accordance with current legal provisions. EVERY MINOR must provide the following physical, non-virtual documents Civil Registry and Identity Card regardless of age CHECK IN OF THE MINOR **WITHOUT THEIR PARENTS WITH A RELATIVE IN CHARGE, they must present the document that proves their relationship, parental permission signed and authenticated with the identity documents of the 3 people. Mother and Child ***WITH ONE OF THE PARENTS, the signed and authenticated permission of the absent parent or permission issued by the family welfare institute must be accredited. ***SCHOOL, SPORTS, CULTURAL GROUPS They must present a letter from the school or entity that is responsible for the minor signed and authenticated, parental permission signed and authenticated with the identity documents of the 3 people. For stays on or after January 1, 2023, residents of Colombia and non-residents staying 60 consecutive days or more will be charged a 19% national sales tax by the property at the time of stay. Travelers on a tourist visa will not be required to pay this tax. The tax may be charged where a room is shared by a taxable and a non-taxable guest.
