This Primus Hotel is still as good as ever. The room type was upgraded if the room status allowed. The hotel concierge brother Avie gave a good service and warmly introduced the surrounding area of the hotel and the facilities in the room. The air is fresh, and I will come to live again next time.

My friends and I had a great stay at Primus. The hotel is in a really peaceful area, but it is a little drive away from most restaurants and shops. This didn’t bother us though as it wasn’t far in a didi. The room was clean and the view is stunning. On my second night I ran a bath and there was an issue with the water. They quickly upgraded me to an amazing villa which was amazing. The staff were all very helpful, especially Alisa who speaks great English (which was handy since my Chinese isn’t great) and helped me with a package issue I had. The bar area is quiet and has an amazing view. Food options for foreigners is a little bit limited but there were some options that we liked.

When Ctrip thought of a newer or newly renovated hotel, it paid attention to Primus Hotel Yuelan Bay. The hotel has upgraded the room between Dadonghai and Yalong Bay. The hotel room is really good. The environment is very good. The hotel facilities are clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and the gym are located on the first floor or the lower floors. I forgot that the swimming pool is clean and the gym equipment is okay. The overall is not bad. I booked a romantic candlelight package, but due to time issues, it was changed to lunch for decoration. The feeling is very good. The food is very average. I don’t recommend it. The only downside is that the location of the hotel is a bit embarrassing. You can’t reach Dadonghai and Yalong Bay on foot. Maybe the surrounding area of the new hotel is still under construction. There are not many restaurants around the hotel, but you can order takeout. Those who want to stay in the hotel all the time are not suitable for those who want to go for a walk, but these are all personal feelings for reference only. The room environment is nothing to say. I recommend it to everyone again.
