Absolutely fantastic location and price, and the facilities themselves are kept in great condition. The hotel is very good about communication, and while they don’t serve breakfast, they do have a really cool vending machine room (straight out of Japan) on the premises. Fantastic stay, would recommend for any traveling to Eugene.

The room itself was fine but the walls are very thin. You can hear everything next door and above you.

We were very pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Local Motel & Shops. The room was spacious, clean, and very welcoming. We were nervous that they offered both ear plugs and a white noise machine, but it was more for your comfort than need! We slept well, the place was quiet, and there's a super fun vending machine shop downstairs that we had a great time exploring. I already have a friend booking a room for an upcoming race!
oh, and walking distance to our favorite pizza stop in Eugene- The Wheel Apizza Pub. 10/10!

Great customer service

The room was nice but that is not why I gave the review 5 stars. When I got to my room the it was cold. I adjusted to heater and went to dinner. When I got back it was not any warmer. I called the number that I received the check in text from and within minutes had a new room, they were fantastic to work with and solved the issue right away! Great customer service is why I give them a 5.

Room was tastefully decorated with a large flat screen tv and a very comfortable king bed. Although bathroom was small it was clean and well appointed. Only complaint was noise travels through from adjacent rooms although next door residents were considerate.
