Loved it!!

I went with my family too this hotel, i loved it!
This is a family run hotel with the most welcomeing and good people i have encountered.
Very clean rooms and service is spot on, i really like the people working.
The location is very good also
If i visit Turkie again i will go out of my way to visit them again and have conversation and laughs with the owner, i will miss him.

Very convenient, very pleasant

This hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. Small and family-run, and the owners are genuinely kind and helpful. Plenty of good restaurants just around the corner, and lots of small shops. We found it an excellent base for our short stay in Istanbul. There is an airport shuttle that can be arranged from the hotel, at intervals of about 2 hours. The room was very comfortable (especially the pillows) and clean. Stairs might be a difficulty for those with mobility problems, but otherwise I have no hesitation in recommending the Subrosa.

Eccellent!!!

The people who owner this hotel are extremely kind! This hotel is only a 5 minutes from the blue mosque (the most beautiful in istambul) and no even one minutes from the tram station or restaurants. I recommend this hotel to everyone who wants visit istambul.

Best Possible Budget Hotel in Sultanahmet

We were a group of four and we stayed there in the second week of October for four nights. It is a family run hotel in a more than a century old building. The location of the hotel is excellent - close to all the major attractions. There are scores of restaurants and half a dozen supermarkets close to the Hotel. However if you want the best one, then go to Sok. The hosts - Suleyman and family were excellent and available throughout - even at 3:00 AM at night. If you need to do any day trips, don't book in advance online - Just ask Suleyman. He will give you heads up on excellent day trips at one-fourth prices. Tea and coffee are available on free. My only request to Suleyman and family, is please add breakfast in your services - atleast basic ones. If you do that, then I dont think anyone would need to look beyond your hotel.

Basic but clean and kind

The room was big, clean and nice, the bathroom was new, the air condition worked well and the man in the reception was really kind, he helped us when we needed anything and explained a few details for tourism. The location is great to see the old town and it's near to many good restaurants.
It is true that it has a lot of stairs (2 floors) and no elevator. The receptionist helped us with the suitcases. Stairs weren't a problem for us, but they could be for other people.
