More than a **stars!! We highly recommend

We were 3 girls and stayed one night at this Hotel and had a great time!! Our room was the Standard: it has the right size, the bathroom is very spacious and very nice, with a fantastic bathtub. There are enough towels and the bed is comfortable. Perhaps the only flaw is that little air circulates. The terrace is spacious and has chairs and overlooks the main street.
The staff is exquisite, the two guys at reception are extremely friendly and helpful. At check-out we were offered coffee and a couple of croissants. Great location a few minutes from the center of Lugano. Convenient free funicular that you can take both to get off and up a few steps from the Hotel. Thanks for your professionalism!! I highly recommend

Basic hotel

A very very basic hotel.
The room is very clean. The hotel is otherwise outdated and very basically furnished. There is no fridge or air conditioning in the room. With temperatures of 32 degrees, the windows need to be opened, making the street noise extremely disturbing.
Parking is also challenging as the nearby Besso parking garage only offers parking for 2 hours, and the hotel itself does not have any spaces.

It was good, but I can't give more than 3 stars because it was not quiet at all during the night. Some people were screaming in the corridor. Also, we came at 9 AM to eat the breakfast, but there was no food anymore. Finally, the shower head was very bad.

It was literally less than 5 mins away from the train station . The bus around Lugano and the funicular to the old town was free . The property was a perfect location . It’s clean and well kept . But small rooms and beds . Which is not a big issue for us . The service is superb . The receptionist came and picked us up at the train station personally .
