Convenient location close to Colombia metro station and a short metro journey to the airport. The staff were pleasant enough. The room was compact but quiet because of the double layered windows. There were patio doors onto the balcony. A lot of the rooms have balconies. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants etc nearby. The room smelled badly of dirty toilet. It looked mostly clean apart from some used tissue on the bathroom floor. There was no opportunity to buy breakfast. Overall it was a good stay and reasonably priced for the area. I would recommend.

The place was good, just as described in the website. The service was good and the employees were friendly. I will choose this place again for my next Madrid trip.

Madrid for work

Very kind and welcoming staff, room and linen well cleaned, but the bathroom small and not very functional uncomfortable, do not have a bidet. Some areas appeared under renovation, but no discomfort. Quiet area with nearby Metro restaurants and bars nearby.

After a 3 day stay, the most annoying thing was the greedy attitude of the reception staff who insisted on charging EUR 10 for a "late"? check-out of 1pm!! Unacceptable!
On the upside, the rooms are recently re-painted and the noisy and sweaty plastic mattress covers they had, have fortunately been eliminated.

Disappointing experience and non existent customer care

I had a very disappointing experience at Roisa Hostal Boutique during my stay from December 18-19, 2024. The floor we were staying on was under construction, leading to an incredibly noisy afternoon, dusty floors, and non-functional bathroom lights. These conditions made it impossible to relax or enjoy the stay.
To make matters worse, the hostal’s customer service has been completely unresponsive to my concerns. Despite reaching out to request a refund due to these unacceptable conditions, I have received no acknowledgment or resolution.
For a place that markets itself as a boutique hostal, I expected much higher standards both in terms of accommodations and client care. I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience.
