Heroes honored

We went on a Sunday and tickets were free!! You’ll need to get your free ticket from the ticket booth and present them at the entrance. The lines moved quickly and we were able to see everything. It offers a good account of the events that occurred before, during and afterward the uprising. I was not sure if it was a good idea to do the audio guide or not. I appreciated having it when I was too tired to read, but when I wanted to do both, read and listen, the audio was too long. My only criticism is that the museum needs to offer more seating through out the museum.

An absolute must!!!

Unfortunately I left the visit until then of my trip. I planned to spend half a day visiting and assumed that would be ample. I misjudged that. I only got half away around the museum. Font be fooled. It's a big place.
It's a great day out. There are some graphic scenes so I wouldn't recommend young children going.
Most of the information boards are types in Polish and English which is a plus for me :)
Definitely recommend ordering the audio guide (around £5) if I recall.
I will visit again and allow more time.
