Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), this property adheres to strict physical distancing measures. Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), wearing a face mask is mandatory in all indoor common areas. It's not possible to stay at this property for coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine purposes. From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that Eastana Cherating Beach Resort pre-authorizes your credit card to guarantee your booking. As debit cards cannot be pre-authorized, a final charge will be made on your card instead, should you choose to provide debit card details. Guests will be required to present their digital vaccination certificate to verify immunization status upon completion of the following conditions before check-in: -Individuals are considered fully vaccinated 14 days after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer, AstraZeneca or Sinovac vaccines, -28 days after being jabbed with the single-dose Johnson & Johnson or CanSino vaccines.

Effective 1 January 2024, Foreign nationals entering Malaysia are required to fill in the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) via the Malaysian Immigration portal. It is prohibited to bring durian and mangosteen to the hotel.
