Close to MRt station, Ueno is a must visit place in Tokyo, really worth the price that we payed!!!

Overpriced for budget accommodation

If this was half the price, it would be ok. Just. But we paid similar amounts for much better accommodation elsewhere. Two stars for basic institutional-feeling accommodation with ok staff. The missing three are for the lax security, the worn and drab decor, the doors that open into the hallway so you can take out a fellow inhabitant, the small and overwhelmed lift, and the fact that nobody - nobody - looked happy to be there. Ueno is not the end of the universe, in fact around the corner - literally - is a MyStays that looks lovely! It was booked out. So we got its poor cousin. If this is what passes for standard priced accommodation in Tokyo we will give the whole joint a miss. Hiroshima MyStays on Peace Park there is terrific. Go there.

Hotel location is nice, just 800 m from Ueno station. Room is a bit small just like Japanese hotel standard but have everything that you need.

Great location, very close to metro stations. Was on the top floor with an amazing view. Microwave included in the room. Will book again in the future if come to Tokyo again.

Easy to connect and there are so many mini mart such as lawsan / 7-11 / family mart
