My 11th stay in this hotel.   Love the location and the service they provided.
Special thanks to Mr Yasuda San for the extra efforts the he has  put in to solve my room issues when checking in.
Will definitely be back next year again.

The room is clean, neat. The housemaid was very good in the cleaning. They have a liming of cleaning, if missed that, that day would not expect a cleaning service. The hotel provides good choices of toiletries.
The location is convenient, just opposite the train station. The breakfast spread has no vegetarian option, so I did not take the breakfast provided by the hotel.

Thank you very much for staying at our hotel.
Thank you again for your cooperation in posting a review.
Our hotel is located very close to Kyoto Station and has been highly rated by many customers.
Breakfast is buffet style, and we will consider increasing the number of vegetable options based on customer feedback. Thank you for your good opinion.
We will continue to strive to be a hotel where our customers can spend their time comfortably.

This is NOT a nice hotel. By far the worsed. But the locations is really good and the breakfast is good as well. The room was not clean, it smelled moldy in the bathroom and overall it wasn't fresh. Another hotel told me that this used to be 100% business hotel but then they started to sell to other customers as well. They couldn't communicate in english at all. Not even with google translator. They should not be on Hotels.com and other sitres if they can't do that. If you need a place where tro crash this is totally ok. So glad I only stayed 2 nights and not the entire stay in Kyoto. It would have been a complete failure.

It turned out to be a very boring tour, with only the increase in take-off prices.

It wasn't for overnight use, it was built into a set trip lunch, so I had no choice. I wouldn't go here if I chose personally. Today is the day of the Miyako Shichifukujin Pilgrimage, the oldest sacred shrine in Japan, and tomorrow the 7th is very crowded (set trips are also sold out and waiting to be canceled), so I paid my respects a day before. Until a few years ago, the lunch of this tour by this travel agency was at Rakunan Kaikan in Toji, which was good, because it was a lunch boxed lunch for the Seven Lucky Gods, using ingredients related to the happy Shichifukujin ... since this Hotel Keihan has become a dish with a savoury (but only sufficient) content that has nothing to do with the Shichifukujin tour etc. Sure, all the prices in the surrounding area are high because of the incompetent and poor government officials, but this lunch, the set trip costs have risen by a dozen percent, and the staff seem to start early just by watching it, or they're eager to take orders for the separately paid drinks... but all they can do is pour cold Japanese tea (only once) to many others. Tempura is also eaten with a sprinkle of salt in that direction, naturally half the people want tempura soup ... but it doesn't matter. The coronavirus has reduced the number of visitors, and Rakunan Hall, where you can't spend just a couple of years, is another problem, but I'm amazed by the savoury food and the laid-back nature of this hotel, which is the same company as the travel agency. I have a lot of friends, so my acquaintances come to Kyoto all year round, but this is not very good if they ask for accommodation or meals, but I can't recommend this hotel. The food should be more extensive and tour-worthy. The bus tour between the Keio Shimbun and Keihan was low in the level of attendants and guides, but high in the level of food and drivers ... but this is not good. I thought it was just me because of my personal tastes, but I've had complete agreement from women who've been there many times as well as me ... I wonder who's on the same page. I felt like it. I've been on this tour about a dozen times, I think, but it's getting worse every year.

I’ve booked for 4 nights connecting room for 2 rooms. When we checked-in the staff only gave us 3 nights connecting room and we have to check out the next day and re-checked in for the last night to non- connecting room. Quite disappointing.

Thank you very much for staying at our hotel.
Thank you again for your cooperation in posting a review.
I originally made a reservation for a twin room, but I received a request for a connecting room, so we prepared one for you.
However, due to other guests' reservations and room availability, we only had to change our stay after 3 nights.
Therefore, we have prepared connecting rooms for only 3 nights, and for the remaining night, we have prepared the room you originally reserved.
We appreciate your understanding as we strive to satisfy all of our customers.
