The hostel itself was constantly cleaned. Thanks to the owner for having skincare products in the women's bathroom and pads/tampons in the toilet, it’s very valuable!

北京都的秘密基地
‧Nice, Clean, Quite place.
‧Bathroom and shower super new and clean.
‧Building is new and wood made, Lovely.
‧Host is very kind and helpful. My partner catch a cold while travel, host help us.
Cons : no
We would stay here again if we come back to Kyoto.
ps. You can use Laundry machine while stay. Bicycle rent also available.
非常棒的住宿體驗。
1.建築物很新。浴室很乾淨，整個屋子是木造的，木頭的氣味很讓人放鬆。
2.室內禁止穿鞋(有給拖鞋)不會有腳步聲。
住客素質都很好，仿彿回到家裡一樣安靜舒服，很讓人安心。
3.有提供洗衣機與腳踏車出租。
4.老闆很熱心助人。旅伴感冒時幫了我們很大的忙。很謝謝他
建物設計很有巧思，讓人住起來很有秘密基地的感覺。氣氛靜謐舒服。
下次如果再來京都會想要再住這裡！

A slice of heaven in Kyoto
This is one of my favourite hotels/ hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Feels so traditionally Japanese and the small touches around the dormitories are lovely.
From the calming music that plays all day to the amazing bathroom/ shower facilities, we didn’t want to leave! Towels, hairdryers and toiletries are complimentary.
The 206 bus runs from Kyoto train station near Dormitory Sui and then it’s about a 5 minute walk. Whilst it’s not in the centre of town, it’s still very close.
The woman working on reception was SO lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us.
Side note: if you book through Booking.com, you will still need to pay city tax when you arrive. We were not aware of this.
Can’t recommend this place enough when you’re in Kyoto!
