Run away

First time in Ostend, I wanted to take a hotel near the beach and shopping areas. However, if you book here, expect no parking and have to park far enough from the hotel, as nearby parking lots are often crowded.
When we arrived, the receptionist was unpleasant. We had booked for 2pm, but when we arrived tired of the journey with our luggage, we were told that the room was not ready. We wanted to put our luggage in the luggage room to enjoy the good weather, but it is accessible to everyone, making it impossible to leave our things safe. So we had to wait outside the room without doing anything.
Forty minutes later, we returned to the reception, and the receptionist finally told us that the room was ready. Upon entering, we found the bed undone, the sheets worn, hair in the bed, wet and worn towels, sand on the floor, and many other inconveniences. It was a real DISASTER!!, I have never seen this in my life! Annoyed, we asked the receptionist for an explanation, who told us that the room would not be ready until 3:30 p.m. Now, at 3:30 p.m., no cleaning lady had yet passed! We lost all afternoon because of that.
I strongly recommend this hotel. If you are looking to stay in the dirt, then go ahead, but if not, go your way. I wonder how this property got three stars. It is money thrown out of windows. Moreover, the receptionist was uncooperative and unpleasant, even unsympathetic. It would be wise to consider changing the staff at this level.
The housekeeper was the only pleasant and smiling person in this hotel, courageously alone to manage the seven floors.
It was my first booking on Booking, and I trusted the site when I saw the reviews. I will not do it again and I will not book on this site. Very disappointed, I should have looked for reviews on other sites. Obviously, many customers had the same experience as me. I do not recommend this site if you want constructive reviews.

Lousy service / unreliable

After telephone consultation (6 days before booked date) I was promised that I could 'exceptionally' convert the booking to a week later. It was said that I had to pay extra (€ 40,-). I've agreed to that. It was neat at the time because I couldn't actually rebook.
Have asked 'Is it so final?'
Yes, it has been rebooked.
A week later we arrive at this location to check in, and guess what...
Booking not found anymore... No, you're not listed. We are full.
We found another hotel. (Last room, which was available)
And explained the story there. But this did not sound strange to them. This says it all!!

Disappointing stay.

We had booked for a business trip with a colleague. Not having arrived at the same time, my welcome was very correct, however my colleague was received in a very unpleasant manner. Rooms not very clean and balled up towels lying around in the corridors. The prices are still high for what we offer, we did not have lunch there. We are disappointed with our stay.

I wouldn't go back again

Check-in from 2 p.m. We received a call at 10:30 AM that we had to be there at 2:30 PM because there was no one else available to check in. I said it might be 3pm since we had to drive almost 3 hours. Then we got the answer. “I'll be here until 2:30 PM.” Very unpleasant smell upon arrival in the room. No electrical socket in the bathroom. Breakfast was limited but okay and also a very sweet woman at breakfast. Mold in the bathroom. Hygiene could really be better. Good location, everything was within walking distance.
